When you start the engine in the “OpenCL” mode, first of all the hardware is analysed. Doing so ensures that the engine runs sensibly and as far as possible loss-free on your computer. When the engine is used, e.g. for analysis, the graphics card (GPU) fully utilised to 100 %, whilst the CPU (processor) is only used to approx. 12 %.

 

Tip: the diagnosis of the hardware configuration is carried out during the installation. Depending on the graphics card this mode can result in totally different results. These results are dependent on the graphics card being used.
