As a rule, the detailed evaluations tempt many users not to deal intensively with board positions. In many cases it makes sense to find the best possible continuation independently.
Therefore, in the engine window you will find the switch " Hints on/off ", which you can use very well for your own training.
The program now hides the display of the calculated main variant and gives the user more or less discreet tips/hints about the board position.
Clicking on the "Next hint" button displays another hint. After multiple queries the program shows the hint directly with a green arrow on the chessboard.
Clicking again on the small icon in the engine window switches back to the more informative engine display.
