Menu File – Options – Folders
The most important conceptual innovation in the now clearer Options dialog is the introduction of two folders: "Standard" and "Custom".
Default is given by Windows and is located under the path <User>/Documents/ChessBase. Because Microsoft now mirrors the document folder in OneDrive, this causes problems with large databases.
Therefore, you can user-define your own path, and specify for each typical location whether it should be in the documents directory or elsewhere ("Custom").
For example, you can place the large database on another disk, while all the smaller stuff is managed by Windows and then available, for example, via OneDrive on other computers.
This dialog appears automatically at the first program start.
