Is it possible to browse positions by interactively moving the pieces instead of filtering by a position set up by the user. This would greatly speed up and simplify my searching of positions, instead of having to set up all the pieces in the Filter tool or go through the opening keys. Please let me know if it is possible to do this with ChessBase.

 

This is possible. Just open ChessBase, start with the initial position, click on “Online” and use the opening moves tree to go through the game.
