Not to forget the new function „Assisted Play“: If this function is activated and you click on the piece you want to move, all squares to which this piece can go are highlighted. Green says go but red says no, that is, moves to squares that are highlighted in green are tactically sound, while moves to squares that are highlighted in red are tactical blunders. This stops you from making stupid mistakes and makes you ask „What's wrong that move?“- which in turn leads to some calculation that helps you to get better.

 

If you play against the Web-App of Fritz on "Beginner", "Amateur", or "Club Player" level, the program is looking for chances for you. You do not need much experience to beat the "Beginner" level and on "Amateur" level an experienced player can win without too much effort. But the most interesting level is "Club Player": Here the engine plays natural, positionally logical moves but makes subtle mistakes or allows you hidden tactical possibilities.
