Engine – Switch off engine

 

 

Normally when you enter a move the program will start playing against you. You can also switch to infinite analysis, in which case the engine will calculate in the background while you enter moves for both sides.

 

If you want to turn the engine off altogether you can do so with "Switch off engine". After this the engine will not run in the background, which is useful if you are running a number of program at the same time.
